I don’t care what happens to me after, I have to drop money on tickets. My friend David told me about this a few weeks ago when I’d only heard about Thievery Corporation, Massive Attack and Big Boi. Then my imagination took hold of how cool it would be if they could get RJD2 or Girl Talk and then suddenly … I’m Rob Schneider from Surf Ninjas.
A friend of mine is a vocal major (or some such classy bullshit) and has contributed greatly to my knowledge and appreciation of musical avenues that weren’t navigatable to me before. We haven’t got to hang out a lot lately, so I made this mix to fulfill a over-due obligation. I’d like to call it “Anti-Folk Justifies My Hatred” but that’s just because I have no shame.
